Remember: you are responsible for your own safety and for the safety of those around you.

Camping is a wonderful way to explore our nation’s forests. Please follow these safety tips to ensure a safe journey:

    • For the safety of yourself and others, dogs must be kept on a leash while in the campgrounds, and must not be left unattended.
    • Secure your food items in the designated bear box, or in your vehicle if one is not provided.
    • Look up before setting up your tent to make sure that there are no broken tree limbs, which could cause serious injury if they fall.
